In this day and age, there are so many enthusiasts out there longing for more power and performance, but there’s a price to pay with this. You can’t just turn things up and not monitor them.

In short, you can’t overclock something and expect it to just work without keeping tabs on it. That’s where software like GPU-Z comes into play.

The new version of GPU-Z gives support for the newest GeForce graphics cards, including the GeForce GT 430.

Among other tweaks and fixes, the changelog is as follows:

  • Improved support for AMD Radeon HD 6850 and HD 6870
  • Added support for NVIDIA GeForce GT 430, GT 420
  • Fixed default clock reading on Fermi architecture cards
  • Added voltage controller support for Colorful iGame GTX 460
  • Added PCI Vendor detection for Colorful
  • Added TMU count and die size for GF106
  • Synchronization mutexes are global now
  • Improved stability when running multiple instances of GPU-Z / Fixed “the driver has been marked for deletion” error
