GTA 6 Includes “Well Over” 600,000 Animations, Twice as Many as Red Dead Redemption 2
The extended GTA 6 trailer confirmed that the open world set in Vice City is without a doubt the most ambitious project ever made by Rockstar Games. The game impressed greatly from a graphics and detail point of view, but its animations will be no less impressive.
According to The New York Times, Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 6 contains “well over” 600,000 unique animations. This is a very impressive number when compared with its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto 5, which had “only” 55,000. Red Dead Redemption 2, considered a masterpiece in this area, had 300,000.
GTA 6 Features Over 600,000 Animations
Grand Theft Auto 6 therefore doubles the number of the western game and offers more than ten times as many animations as GTA 5, promising to deliver a realistic and immersive experience like never before.
In another interview, Rockstar also revealed that its development team has more than doubled since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. With such a large increase in its workforce, it is understandable that there has also been such a major step forward from a technical point of view.
All of this will be achieved without the use of generative AI, as confirmed by Rockstar Games. The studio has also ruled out the possibility of microtransactions being included in GTA 6’s single-player experience.
In other news, GTA 6 could feature some of the most impressive graphics ever, with advanced lighting, realistic characters and a stable 30 fps.
