GTA 6 Switch 2 Version Reportedly in the Works
There is once again talk about the possibility of GTA 6 arriving on Nintendo Switch 2. The topic has returned after comments from Nintendo insider Nash Weedle, who had already mentioned last year that a version of the game for Nintendo’s new console was in development.
According to Weedle, he recently received new information claiming that work on GTA 6 for Switch 2 is moving forward quickly. His source reportedly said the game is planned to launch alongside the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.
Rockstar May Bring GTA 6 to Switch 2
However, the insider himself does not believe Rockstar Games will be able to release the Switch 2 version at the same time as the other platforms. Because of this, he thinks the Nintendo version will likely arrive later.
Weedle also said he does not expect the Nintendo Switch 2 logo to appear when Rockstar releases the highly anticipated third trailer for GTA 6.
According to the insider, Rockstar wants to use the next trailer to show the full power of the game, possibly running on PS5 Pro because of the marketing partnership with Sony. For this reason, it would not make much sense to focus attention on the Switch 2 version during the presentation.
As always with these types of reports, it should be treated with a pinch of salt. More information will likely become available soon, and we’ll make sure to keep you updated here at eTeknix.
