HAVN BF 360 PC Case Review
A Closer Look – Interior
With the tempered glass window removed, you can see there’s a lot of space inside the BF 360. Interestingly, the side panel is not installed with thumbscrews, so you need a screwdriver to open it up. However, the screws aren’t required to hold it in place, more to just lock it more permanently, as there are push clips at the top, and the recess for the glass is lined with grippy rubber to prevent scratching, vibrations and to keep the seal night and tight.

There’s a PSU shroud built into the case, but as you can see, it’s heavily scooped out towards the front, providing an angled panel. This air duct design has been designed to direct airflow towards the graphics card. HAVN experimented with multiple angles before settling on 135 degrees to find which delivers both the optimal acoustics and improved GPU cooling performance.

A beautifully engineered GPU anti-sag bracket, with multiple angles of adjustment, anti-vibration soft mounts, and a design that allows you to adjust the height by sliding it up/down the cable routing grommet mount.

It’s also rotatable, ensuring it can accommodate graphics cards of any length with ease.

One of the killer features of this case has to be the cable routing. While it doesn’t support BTF, the attention to detail here just highlights why I love this case. The offwhite rubber grommets are massive, but also feature rubber veticals that nod to the aesthetics of the front panel. There are two horizontals on each, which can be moved up or down to provide more tension, kind of like a cable comb.

In the rear of the case, you’ll find their own 140x30mm thick fan, colour-matched with the rest of the case.

While in the front, we have those absolutely stunning 180mm fans that are 40mm thick. If it wasn’t for the premium finish and curved housing, they would look like big industrial fans! These fans aren’t available in white, at least not at the moment, but I think the contrast against the front panel and the case is striking, and I like them as they are!

Behind the motherboard, there’s so much going on. Honestly, the attention to detail on this case really is second to none. There are cable channels, grommets, clips, Vecrostraps, and hubs galore back here!

The cable channels come with support clips and straps, as well as small text indicating which cables are best suited to be channelled through each for an optimal build.

They’re all around the back of the motherboard tray too, so the CPU power cables, 24-pin, GPU cables, fan cables and more can all be easily accommodated.

The Vecro straps are thoughtfully placed too, so that they don’t interfere with the rubber grommets, allowing you to pass cables through easily, while strapping down any excess cable.

Towards the front, there are a couple of removable drive mounting trays. Each tray can support either a single 3.5″ HDD ot a pair of 2.5″ SSDs. Each tray is hanging from an antivibration mount and secured with a single thumbscrew for easy installation and removal.

Fan control is crucial, especially in cases designed for multiple high-performance fans. At the top of the case, there’s a six-channel hub, with the two front fans and the rear fan pre-wired and ready to rock. Three additional fan points are enough to accommodate any top-mounted fans too.

With the top panel removed, you can easily clean its dust filter and gain access to the top fan mounts. As standard, it’ll support both 120mm and 140mm fans, but it has a bit of modularity to it too.

This removable plate runs the length of the panel; remove it, and the top of the case will support those epic HAVN 180x40mm fans.

The whole tap frame is removable too, just under the side screws and you can remove it easily enough.

It lifts out, allowing you to install and fans or radiators to the bracket, then easily install it again as a single unit.

Furthermore, having it removed makes it so much easier to install bulkier CPU coolers, your motherboard, and deal with the cable management along the top edge of your motherboard.
