HAVN BF 360 PC Case Review
A Closer Look – Fans

While the case is available without fans, or with the three we’ve seen in our review sample (BF 360 Flow edition), you can also buy the fans separately. There are the H12, H14 and H18 fans, which are 120mm, 140mm and 180mm respectively. However, they’re all thicker than standard PC case fans, which are usually 25mm deep. The H-series are 30mm deep for the H12 and H14, while the H18 are a whopping 40mm deep, so keep in mind they may not be compatible with some PC cases due to this.

They’re some of the finest fans I’ve ever handled, with impeccable build quality and attention to detail. Featuring their “Harmonised Flow Design”, with a custom-shaped hub and blade edges to create smoother airflow and reduce unwanted noise output. There’s a Triple-Groove FDB design, a 30% Glass Fibre-Reinforced construction, anti-vibration mounts built in, and their handy Loopin Cable system to allow you to easily hide cables alongside their frame for a cleaner aesthetic.

While the fans aren’t cheap, they’re a testament to the quality HAVN is trying to deliver, and being able to accommodate four 180mm fans in a single case is very impressive for those who want high airflow, with lower RPM and lower noise output.

The HAVN H12 and H14 are currently available in black or white, while the H18 is available in black

As I said before, the top of the case supports 120 and 140mm fans, but with the removable plate, uhm, removed, this can be adjusted to accept these 180mm fans too.

Overall, the fan support of the HAVN BF 360 is impressive, and it’s good to see there’s a little extra clearance at the top to allow for what are now the thickest consumer fans on the market.

And they look just as great once the top panel is put back in place.
