Helldivers 2 Surpasses 20 Million Sales, With PC Players Accounting for Most Purchases

Helldivers 2 has achieved very strong results since launch, and its developers at Arrowhead have already confirmed they are working on a new game.

Now, new data confirms just how big Helldivers 2 has become. Since its release in February 2024, the game has sold over 20 million copies across all platforms. Based on these figures, total revenue is estimated at around $700 million.

Helldivers 2 Dominates on PC

These figures come from Alinea Analytics, which reports that PC is the platform with the highest number of sales. The PC version has reached 13.1 million units sold, while PlayStation 5 has also seen very strong numbers with 5.6 million copies sold. The Xbox version, released later, has still achieved a notable result with 1.6 million units sold.

Other interesting data shows that 250,000 players have played the game for more than 500 hours, highlighting its long-term appeal. As an additional detail, a large portion of Steam players who play Helldivers 2 are also fans of cooperative games such as Left 4 Dead 2 (64%), Lethal Company (52%), Phasmophobia (48%), and R.E.P.O. (40%).
