Hideo Kojima Visits Xbox Game Studios, Meets CEO Asha Sharma
Hideo Kojima has made one of his usual visits, this time to a very interesting place. In several photos, including one shared by Kojima himself on X, he can be seen visiting Xbox Game Studios and meeting with key figures, including the new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma and chief content officer Matt Booty.
In the photo with the two Microsoft executives, Kojima is also holding a mysterious briefcase with the words “Xbox for Kojima” written on it. This detail has raised curiosity and suggests that something may have been handed over to the head of Kojima Productions.
Hideo Kojima Spotted at Xbox Game Studios
Kojima often visits different studios and meets with industry figures, so this kind of visit is not unusual by itself. However, the fact that he met with top Xbox leadership has led to speculation that something important could be in development.
Kojima Productions is currently working on OD, a project being produced directly by Xbox Game Studios. Because of this, it is natural to think that the meeting may have focused on this game, and that new information could be shared soon.
The horror title was last shown with an impressive trailer, although it revealed very little about the project. It is known to be one of the main titles Kojima is working on in 2026, and it may be shown again in the coming months.
At the same time, it is possible that there is more behind this visit. With Asha Sharma now leading Xbox, the company could be planning additional projects with Hideo Kojima. The visit, along with photos showing him inside studios like those of Halo and Bethesda, may hint at more announcements in the future.
