HP adds Cedar Trail to its Netbooks

HP are the latest company to add Intel’s new Cedar Trail platform to its range of Netbooks. The Mini 110 and Mini 210 netbooks will both be available with either of the two dual core Atoms; the  N2600 for the 110 and N2800 for the 210.

Other than that specifications haven’t really changed a lot; you can have either 1GB or 2GB of RAM (potentially you could have 4GB as Atom supports up to 4GB), a 10.1″ LED backlit monitor with a puny 1024 by 600 resolution on the 110 and a 1366 by 768 resolution on the 210, integrated graphics, 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, a VGA webcam, a 93% full-sized spill-resistant textured keyboard, a media card reader, and a 6-cell battery.

In terms of hard drives, don’t expect much for your money in the current climate. The 110 model packs only 320GB and the 210 model gets 500GB.

In terms of pricing we hazard a guess at about €320-340 for the cheaper 110 model and €360-€400 for the more expensive 210 model.
