HyperX Displays Predator DDR4 RGB Memory at CES 2018

HyperX didn’t just bring the Fury RGB SSD with them to CES 2018, they had RGB memory with them too. On display here are the HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB 3200MHz modules in a 32GB kit – or perhaps it is 32GB per module. That isn’t really clear, but it isn’t that relevant to the story. After all, it is the RGB we’re interested in here.

HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB Memory

Shine bright, they said, and the HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB modules do just that. While we didn’t get a whole lot of specifications on the modules, we kind of already have them. Basically, the modules are built upon the popular Predator series with the addition of RGB.

That means that you have the options of 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB modules divided up into 4GB to 128GB kits with 1 to 8 modules. The speeds range from the basic 2400MHz DDR4 speeds and go all the way up to 3600MHz. The modules on display here land in the middle with their 3200MHz speed.

The rest of the system specifications for the display setup aren’t bad at either, not at all. There is a HyperX Predator PCIe SSD with 960GB capacity in there, naturally. The motherboard is a Gigabyte AUROS Gaming 7 with an Intel Core i5-8600K processor inserted. The graphics card is also a Gigabyte card, the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 WindForce 8G while the whole thing gets its power from an EVGA SuperNOVA 1200W power supply.
