In Win Dragon Rider Full Tower Chassis Review

Exterior
The Dragon Rider has a very similar look to the Dragon Slayer, albeit a little bigger, but carries on with the chain mail surface. The full size of the case is 556 x 239 x578mm and is made from steel giving it quite a solid build quality but this means it weighs a fair bit too.

The right hand side of the Dragon Rider has an embossed section to add with the unique styling and also features a 120mm blue LED fan and ventilation ports.

The left hand side has a mesh window for ventilation and more importantly some unique styling that gets its fashion tips from the front. A huge 220mm LED fan is pre-installed, but can be swapped out for six 120mm fans if you want your case to be like a wind tunnel.

Speaking of the front, it features the same design we saw originally on the Dragon Slayer with a chain mail effect. This effect aids in ventilation and keeping the case as cool as possible. Each bay panel is easily removed using the levers either side.

This particular case features the In Win logo on the front which takes centre stage and once turned on lights up blue.

The dragon rider has its front panel connectors positioned on the top of the case and includes 2 x eSATA, 2 USB 2.0, 2 xUSB 3.0, FireWire port, audio jacks as well as a power and reset button which are all featured on a brush metal surface.

The top of the Dragon Rider has a ventilated panel for two 120mm fans. One comes pre-installed and is a funky green colour.

Four rubber grommets are at at the back of this case for passing watercooling tubes through, as well as the USB 3.0 connectors, as this case sadly doesn’t use native USB 3.0 headers. A preinstalled 120mm green fan is at the back for exhausting any hot air from the case.

The Dragon Rider has eight expansion slots and the PSU bay is in its typical position at the bottom of the chassis.

The bottom has four feet which rotate 90 degrees out to the side for the best stability and presence.
