In Win GRone Full Tower Chassis Review

The GRone build took me around twenty minutes to complete, which is obviously a very good time for any system but it’s especially incredible given the end results look as good as they do. This is easily one of the cleanest looking builds I’ve ever done and it was also one of the most straightforward and fuss free systems I’ve build too. The only strange thing was how far the cable management holes are from the motherboard, obviously this chassis can take a bigger board but it would have been nice to see a few extra cable management holes to cater for smaller boards. I’m just being picky though, even with the large blank section between our board and the cable management holes, things look, clean, tidy and overall fantastic.

Our Antec 920 water cooler has more than enough room in here, in fact I can’t remember the last time it has as much room as this! I decided to invert the radiator just to be different, yet even with the 140mm exhaust fan mounted in the top of the chassis we still have loads of clearance. The CPU cooling block has a huge ammount of spare between it and the Antec Kuhlers fans and everything is well out of the way of our GTX 560 Ti.

The front of the chassis is much the same, there isn’t a thing in the way of our in take fans and airflow through the chassis should be superb.

But it’s worth the side panel back in place the the GRone really shines, as that large window gives us a fantastic view of the systems interior, our components look fantastic thanks to the clean cable layout and unobstructed views.

Around the back everything else looks neat and tidy, as you can see I’ve removed the 140mm exhaust fan to make way for the 120mm fan of the Antec water cooling unit, our GTX 560 Ti has leads of spare to breath and that extra ventilation on the right side of the chassis is really going to help shift heat out the rear of the chassis.
