Nvidia planned the launch of the GTX 560SE just a few weeks ago so that it would have a direct competitor to the HD 7770 graphics cards on price and performance (unfortunately not power consumption). Inno3D’s model of the GTX 560SE looks pretty good, from the pictures we can see it will be using quite a short PCB which is probably about 8 inches in length by the looks of things, making it ideal for small cases and portable systems. The specifications are as follows:
This card has a dual 80mm fans with four 8mm nickel plated copper heat pipes which will work as an effective and quiet cooler. On average this card is about 8% faster than the HD 7770 card, but consumes 80W more power at load. Pricing will be somewhere in between the 550Ti and 560 so we estimate around £110 which will be about £10 cheaper than the HD 7770.
