3rd Gen RT Cores and 4th Gen Tensor Cores are all new on this card, so while rasterisation performance is give or take similar to the last gen, this is where things could get interesting. Largely, the card is faster gen to gen, but for Control, it’s not a huge improvement.
In Cyberpunk, the gen-to-gen difference is there, but it’s the DLSS 3 that really stands out, taking the FPS up to a staggering 129 FPS with full ultra settings.
The 3060 actually did better here, but it’s the DLSS 3 mode that looks odd, as it allowed for 81 FPS while using the ultra ray tracing settings rather than just very high.
No DLSS 3 on this one, but a good 11 FPS bump with DLSS 2 and 6 FPS with RT high.
