Intel Arc B580 Battlemage to Feature 20 Xe2 Cores

After seeing some photos of ASRock’s Intel Arc cards, specifically two models, we were able to check out some of their specs thanks to the revelation of their packaging. Now, a new leak has uncovered one of the key features of the upcoming Intel Arc B580 model, based on Intel’s Battlemage architecture, which is rumored to be launched in December. The card has been spotted on Geekbench, where it was tested alongside a Gigabyte motherboard.

Intel Arc B580 Specifications Revealed

Although Geekbench doesn’t provide a direct metric for gaming performance, we now know that the Intel Arc B580 will feature 20 Xe2 cores, equating to a total of 160 CUs. Additionally, other specifications have been revealed, including a GPU clock speed of up to 2,850 MHz, as well as 12 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, as we had seen in previous leaks.

Launch Timing and Expectations

Initially, rumors suggested that Intel would unveil these cards before Black Friday, which is only a few days away. However, more recent reports place the launch date in December, though it’s still unclear whether it will happen at the start or end of the month. With these Geekbench results and the leaked packaging photos of ASRock’s models, it seems we can expect the launch of Intel’s Battlemage-based cards sooner rather than later.
