Intel Arc B580 Surpasses RX 9070 and RTX 5060 Ti in Sales for the First Time
In the latest sales data from the German retailer Mindfactory, the Intel Arc B580 has managed to enter the list of best-selling graphics cards, surpassing models like the Radeon RX 9070 and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti in units sold.
Intel Arc B580 Breaks Records at Mindfactory
Mindfactory is one of the main references for tracking market trends. For the first time, Intel has achieved a significant presence in its rankings. While AMD continues to lead with the Radeon RX 9070 XT (725 units sold) and the RX 9060 XT (595 units), the surprise comes further down the list.
The Intel Arc B580 appears in 12th place with 40 units sold. Although this number might seem small, it is historic for two reasons. First, it doubled the sales of the Radeon RX 9070 (non-XT), which sold only 20 units. Second, it shows that Intel’s market share at this retailer has grown from around 1% to nearly 4% in revenue for that week.
Other GPUs from Intel’s Battlemage architecture also saw unusual sales activity. The Arc B570 and the Arc Pro B50 (for workstations) each sold 20 units — the same number as the RX 9070. Even the modest Arc A310, an entry-level model, sold 30 units.
Intel’s Market Share Rises
According to data shared by TechEpiphany on X (formerly Twitter), AMD sold 1,545 units (55.28%), NVIDIA 1,140 units (40.79%), and Intel 110 units (3.94%) during that week. In revenue, NVIDIA leads with 56.13%, followed by AMD with 42.53%, while Intel exceeded 1% for the first time.
So what caused this sudden surge in interest? Analysts point to several factors. After months of limited availability, the Arc Battlemage GPUs are now easier to find. Their main advantage in a volatile market is offering 12 GB of VRAM on the B580 and 10 GB on the B570 at prices close to their MSRP, making them an attractive value option compared to competitors that have seen larger price fluctuations.
