Well, folks, it looks like Intel’s hard at work again, throwing down another fresh set of graphics drivers. The blue team’s new beta version for their Arc GPU Graphics Cards brings some sweet optimisations and necessary fixes to keep your gaming rig running smoothly, and well worth grabbing if you’re playing some of these popular titles, so get ready to hit that update button!
Intel Arc GPU Graphics Drivers 101.8247 Beta
This latest driver drop, version 101.8247 Beta, is a classic Game On release, focusing heavily on getting a bunch of new and upcoming titles running as best they can on your discrete Intel Arc B-series and A-series graphics cards, as well as the built-in Arc GPUs in their Intel Core Ultra processors. It’s all about day-one support, and we love to see it.

Intel’s Game On support for this release is focused on a cracking list of titles, ensuring Arc users can jump into the action with the best possible experience from the get-go:
- ARC Raiders
- Europa Universalis V
- Football Manager 26
- Jurassic World Evolution 3
- The Outer Worlds 2
- Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2
Beyond the new game optimisations, Intel’s been busy tidying up the code and tackling some rather nasty bugs that have been pestering Arc users. Getting these kinds of fixes out in a beta driver is always a good sign for long-term stability.

Satisfactory (Vulkan API): An application crash experienced when launching the game with the Vulkan API has been addressed. Intel recommends using the default DX12dx12 API to avoid application crash. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight: The application crash that occurred when switching the Graphics API to DX11 has been fixed across Intel Arc B-Series, A-Series, Core Ultra Series 1, and Core Ultra Series 2 with built-in Arc GPUs. As with any beta driver, it’s not all sunshine and ray tracing. There are a few known issues that Intel is still working on, so be aware before you update if any of these affect your current playtime.
