Intel Core i7-6950X Broadwell-E Processor Review

Memory Benchmarks – AIDA64

Memory Bandwidth

In terms of memory bandwidth, the i7-6950X outputs astonishing numbers and the write rate dramatically improves. Now the write speed surpasses 60,000 even when using a fairly modest 2400MHz quad-channel kit. The read and copy performance isn’t as much of a monumental change which is to be expected. Nevertheless, Intel’s latest flagship fares very well in the memory stakes.

Memory Latency

The processor’s memory latency is extremely close to the i7-5960X despite offering much higher bandwidth.
