Due to the quad-channel setup required to get the best out of this CPU, we couldn’t really compare it to the dual-channel configurations of other motherboards. That being said, the results are right on the money here. Plus, what’s interesting is that we saw massive read speeds compared to the AMD X399 chipset, but a little behind when it comes to write and copy speeds. Intel showcases their typical advantage here though, with much lower latency vs the AMD motherboard.
