Intel Cuts Prices on Core Ultra 200S Processors: 265K Model Now Priced at $299

Intel has announced a significant price drop for its Core Ultra 7 200S desktop processors, making them more affordable for gamers, professionals, and content creators. The prices of several models have been reduced, including the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, which has dropped from $399 to $299, and the 265KF, now priced at $284 instead of $384. This price cut brings these chips into a more competitive range compared to other products on the market.

The decision to reduce prices comes at an important time for the hardware market. Intel is working to regain ground against AMD and ARM-based solutions, especially in the enthusiast segment. According to Intel, the new Ultra 7 generation offers up to 50% better gaming performance than the Intel Core i7-12700K from the 12th generation. Creative professionals will also benefit, as image rendering with Blender 4.0 sees improvements of up to 65% compared to the previous generation.

More Power for Less: The 200S Series Shines in Benchmarks

The improved performance is due to an optimized architecture that efficiently combines high-performance cores (P-cores) and efficient cores (E-cores). Benchmarks from games like Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege show noticeably higher frame rates, making the Ultra 7 series ideal for competitive gaming. But gaming isn’t the only area to benefit – video production or 3D modeling professionals will also experience much faster rendering times, without needing to invest in expensive workstations.

The Intel Core Ultra 200S series is a solid choice for balanced configurations. The 265K model, in particular, offers an unlocked multiplier for overclocking, while the 265KF version has no integrated graphics, making it a good choice for users who prefer dedicated GPUs and want to save even more.

Active Bundles and Promotions for Buyers

Along with the price reduction, Intel has also relaunched its Spring Bundle, which includes AAA games and professional applications for free with the purchase of qualifying CPUs, including the Core Ultra (2nd generation) and 14th-generation Core series. The bundle offers exciting deals for both gamers and professionals. You can check the details and eligibility for the promotion on the official Intel website.

Although the suggested retail prices have dropped, Intel notes that the final price may vary depending on taxes, duties, and local retailer policies. It’s recommended to check with your trusted stores for availability and current offers, especially as the market faces growing pressure from trade tensions and new tariffs on imported products.
