Synthetic Benchmarks
We’re looking for highest score here, and AMD manages it with both of their CPUs, by quite a larger margin. 25942 vs 22407!
Intel very close on this one, but again AMD just slightly ahead with 11633 on the 5900X.
Faster single core performance is king in this test, and again that goes to AMD.
Both single and multi core went to AMD here.
Online Benchmarks
The online benchmark for Octane shows a clear lead for AMD here, but we didn’t expect it to be quite as large a lead as it is.
The same for Kraken, with completion times much lower on the higher core count vs the higher clock speeds of Intel.
A little more erratic here, the 5900X is still in the lead, but interesting the 5950X fell behind the 10900K here.
