Intel Nova Lake-S Leak Reveals 7 Core Ultra 4000 CPUs, Including 28-Core 4970K BFC
A new leak has indicated that the new Intel Core Ultra 4000 range, belonging to the Nova Lake-S family, will have at least 7 different models.
The leak, which was shared by laurentschoice on X/Twitter, has revealed several of the CPUs that could arrive in the Nova Lake-S family. One of the most interesting details is the mention of the Intel Core Ultra 9 4970K BFC. This processor has 8 P-cores, 16 E-cores, and 4 LP-E cores. In total, it has 28 CPU cores. In addition, it comes with the “bLLC” designation, referring to the cache configuration that Intel will use in its new CPUs.

The leak also once again mentions the Core Ultra 9 4950K, as well as other Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 models. Interestingly, some of them appear with a bLLC configuration, while others use a standard configuration. The complete list of models is as follows:
- Intel Core Ultra 5 4650KF
- Intel Core Ultra 5 4650K
- Intel Core Ultra 7 4850K
- Intel Core Ultra 7 4870K
- Intel Core Ultra 9 4900 BFC
- Intel Core Ultra 9 4950K
- Intel Core Ultra 9 4970K BFC
Almost all of the models have a TDP of 125 W, with the exception of the Intel Core Ultra 4900 BFC, which uses a TDP of 65 W. As for the number of cores, the most basic configuration will have 18 cores (6 P-cores, 12 E-cores, and 4 LP-E cores), with all of them including 4 LP-E cores. In addition, all models include an iGPU except for the Core Ultra 5 4650KF.
The amount of bLLC is not specified in this leak, although previous leaks indicated that it could offer up to 144 MB of L3 cache. This would give Intel a strong response to AMD’s X3D models. However, for now, we will have to wait for Intel’s official announcement to know whether this is true or not.
