Intel Releases Arc Graphics Driver Update Bringing More Performance Uplifts

Intel has released new version of their Arc graphics drivers with version 101.4311.

This new Arc GPU driver brings GameOn optimization for several games as well as many major post-optimizations for several other games bringing respectable performance uplifts.

Game On Driver Support

The new games to receive Game-On driver support are as follows:

• Boundary – Boundary is multiplayer tactical space-based shooter game, engaging in fierce team vs team zero-gravity firefights and executing low-gravity operations on orbiting space installations against other enemy astroperators and other entities.
• Minecraft Legends – Discover the mysteries of Minecraft Legends, a new action strategy game. Lead your allies in heroic battles to defend the Overworld from the destructive piglins.
• Total War: Warhammer III – Mirror of Madness
• Dead Island 2 – A deadly virus is spreading across Los Angeles, turning inhabitants into zombies. Bitten, infected, but more than just immune, uncover the truth behind the outbreak and discover who -or what- you are.

Game Performance Improvements

As Arc matures many games are receiving performance boosts through driver updates and with this update Intel has provided improvements to Dead Space Remake, F1 22, Dying Light 2, Dirt 5 and Deathloop. The key title here is the Dead Space remake which has seen up to a 55% uplift in performance at 1080p on the Arc A750 and up to 63% at 1440p.

  • Up to 7% uplift at 1440p with High Ray Tracing settings preset on Arc A770
• Dirt 5 (DX12)
  • Up to 8% uplift at 1080p with Ultra High Ray Tracing settings on Arc A750
  • Up to 4% uplift at 1440p with Ultra High Ray Tracing settings on Arc A750
• Deathloop (DX12)
  • Up to 4% uplift at 1080p with Very High and Ray Tracing Performance settings on Arc A750
  • Up to 6% uplift at 1440p with Very High and Ray Tracing Performance settings on Arc A750

Fixed Issues

• Microsoft Flight Simulator (DX11) may experience application crashes during gameplay.
• Sea of Thieves (DX11) may exhibit colour corruption on water edges.
• Bright Memory Infinite Ray Tracing Benchmark (DX12) may experience lower-than-expected performance.
• Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve may exhibit color corruption with Optical Flow.
