Intel Reveal Custom Arc A770 and A750 Graphics Cards

With Intel formally confirming the upcoming release of its Arc A770 graphics card earlier this week (for October 12th in case you were not aware), we were clearly set, sooner or later, to start seeing official unveils for custom models from the Arc series. Particularly since, based on Intel’s own comments, their own reference designs might only be sold in relatively limited quantities.

Of course, though, custom models of Arc GPUs are already known to exist in China. Still, following a report via Videocardz, at the conclusion of their Innovation event, Intel has formally revealed a number of Arc A750 and A770 models from ASRock and GUNNIR which seem set for a Western release!

As noted above, the reveal isn’t all entirely new stuff as many of the models pictured from ASRock and GUNNIR are already known to be available to purchase in China. – With that being said though, this clearly goes a significant step beyond Intel merely revealing their own in-house designs, but on the other hand, it’s still unknown whether ASRock and GUNNIR are going to be the only partner/s Intel have with Arc.

In this regard, they’re the only manufacturers with a confirmed association (at the time of writing) likely meaning that they might be (for better or worse) the exclusive choice consumers have for custom models.

What Do We Think?

It’s currently unclear whether these custom models will see a simultaneous Arc A770 release on October 12th, but having options beyond Intel’s own reference design is still a nice option for those possibly considering checking this GPU out. And, if the A770 is going to land for its $339 MSRP, I daresay that that list of people is probably a bit longer than it was before! Albeit, I think it goes without saying that custom models will likely be closer to something around $350-$400.

There is, of course, still no news on the release date for the Arc A750. At this point though, what do you think? Are you considering getting one of Intel’s graphics cards? If so, which model? – Let us know in the comments!
