Intel to Launch Only One Panther Lake Model by the End of 2025
Intel‘s next processor line, Panther Lake, is set to release by the end of 2025, but there will only be one model available at first. This will be Intel’s next hybrid architecture with an 18A production process, focused mainly on energy efficiency. According to the latest rumors, the first model could come out by the end of this year.
Specifications of Intel Panther Lake
Intel is expected to launch a single Panther Lake model in the fourth quarter of 2025. The remaining models in the Panther Lake lineup will likely come in early 2026. The delay into 2026 is believed to be due to production challenges with the 18A production node.
The first configuration to release this year is expected to include 4 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 4 Xe3 cores. This will be a high-end model designed for gaming, artificial intelligence, and other demanding tasks. A key feature of Panther Lake will be the Intel 18A production node, which aims to improve energy efficiency and overall performance. Additionally, the new processors will support DDR5 RAM with up to 96 GB of dedicated memory.
When Will the First Panther Lake Model Be Released?
While we don’t know the exact release date for the first Panther Lake model, rumors suggest it will arrive sometime this year, with a price still to be determined by Intel. Other models are expected to follow in 2026.
Intel’s release plan for future Panther Lake models is still speculative, and we will need official confirmation from the company. We can expect more updates from Intel in the coming weeks or months.
