Intel’s 13th-Gen Raptor Lake Launch Line-Up Revealed?

Intel is currently expected (pending confirmation) to formally announce the launch of its new upcoming 13th-gen Raptor Lake desktop processors on September 27th. A date that, incidentally, seems to be directly coinciding with the release of AMD’s initial Ryzen 7000 line-up. – Sticking with Intel though, it has still been something of a mystery as to exactly what CPU models they would kick their new series off with.

Following a Twitter post by leak source ‘@harukaze5719‘, however, information has appeared online seemingly confirming the entire line-up. And, unlike AMD which is only expected to kick things off with four models, Intel is seemingly going to be going the whole hog with as many as fourteen processors possibly being set for launch in a little over a months time!

Intel Raptor Lake Launch Line-Up Revealed?

Now, admittedly, the information provided here is pretty straightforward and effectively copies the current-gen Alder Lake series. In other words, this is the kind of stuff that could easily be made up so take it with a grain of salt. – What is particularly interesting, however, is that this undoubtedly represents one of the most comprehensive lists of specifications we’ve seen to date. Albeit, with cited clock scores notably lower than what logic should dictate, again, grain of salt time. (We’ve redone the image below since the original (above) was rather small).

What Do We Think?

What’s perhaps most shocking about this leak is the fact that it seems to suggest that Intel may launch Raptor Lake by confirming as many as fourteen CPU models. Truth be told, this is another factor that generally tends to make me doubt this information. As noted above, AMD is only planning (or expected) to kick things off with four models, and, typically speaking, this is usually what we see from Intel too with, at most, usually only around 4-6 CPUs generally being revealed (with detail) on prior launch days.

Then again though, perhaps Intel is just going to take a hamfisted approach by getting everything out the door in one go to allow for plenty of time for the preparation (and hyping) of their next-next-gen Meteor Lake CPUs. – Is Intel going to launch fourteen processors on September 27th though? Well, I’m pressing a hard X to doubt here!
