Intel’s New GPU Battlemage Arc B770 Could Be Revealed at Computex 2025

Intel's New GPU Battlemage Arc B770 Could Be Revealed at Computex 2025

Intel is preparing a new GPU based on the “BMG-G31” silicon, likely the Arc Battlemage B770. This new card might compete with AMD’s RX 9060 and NVIDIA’s RTX 5060, both of which are on the way. Intel currently lacks competitors for these models and will need to step up if it wants to stay in the game.

Recent reports (thanks Wccftech) revealed that the BMG-G31 chip was being sent to an Intel factory in Vietnam, where the Arc B770 is likely being developed. This factory handles the production of limited-edition GPUs, which suggests that Intel is preparing to launch a new Battlemage GPU soon. The BMG-G31 chip is designed for high-end models, and it seems that Intel is ready to move forward with the next iteration.

Intel's New GPU Battlemage Arc B770 Could Be Revealed at Computex 2025

Famous leaker OneRaichu has confirmed that the Arc B770 is coming. This news has sparked optimism around the Battlemage series. Rumors suggest that this GPU could have 24 to 32 Xe2 cores, a 256-bit memory bus, and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. However, this chip might also be used in professional or AI-focused GPUs, so nothing is confirmed yet.

Intel’s Commitment to the GPU Market

Intel may not release desktop GPUs as often as AMD and NVIDIA, but it remains committed to the market. In the fourth quarter of 2024, Intel launched its mid-range Battlemage models, including the Arc B570 and B580. These were considered solid options compared to the competition at the time. The company is expected to announce the Arc B770 during Computex 2025, which is just weeks away. While the details are not final, Intel might surprise the market with this new release.

Intel’s next move in the Battlemage lineup could set a new tone for the mainstream GPU market. We’ll have to wait to see if the company can deliver a competitive product.
