MSIRawZ has been busy tonight, visiting different forums around the web and presenting us with an image of the newest X99 offering. The MSI X99S XPOWER AC is a beautiful black and yellow motherboard based around the new X99 chipset.
With 8 memory sockets for four channelDDR4 support, you won’t run out of free RAM any time soon. The board also features five PCI Express Gen3 x16 slots and one PCIe x1 slot. It looks like it has 12x SATA ports and 2x USB2.0 and 1 USB3.0 header. Below the bottom PCIe slot there seems to be a molex connector, quite possible to supply extra power to all the PCI Express lanes.
This is a clear overclocking board, that “likes LN2 with several new overclocking features”, but what those features might be is up to anyones guess. The frosty look also clearly indicate ice cold operations.
Will this be the new king for the overclockers? We’ll find out when it hits the market. RawZ finishes his very small post with the words “What do you want more?” Until then, you might be interested in our recent review of the MSI Z97 MPOWER MAX AC motherboard.
Thank you Overclock3D for providing us with this information.
