InWin 101C Tempered Glass RGB Mid-Tower Chassis Review

A Closer Look – Exterior

The 101C makes a good first impression, with a clean exterior design that’s sure to look great anywhere you put it. It uses an enclosed front panel for a clean look. Don’t worry about airflow though, the front fans aren’t mounted where you would typically expect them. More on that in a moment.

The chassis is mounted on two full-width feet, giving it a nice clean stand that’s very stable and sturdy.

There’s a full bank of 120mm fan mounts on the bottom, giving you 360mm of fan or radiator space. What’s absolutely lovely is that it’s a side slide-out dust filter, making it super easy to clean and maintain.

Upon the top, nothing much to see, but there’s a compact and tidy I/O panel in the front right corner. Here you’ll also find that handy USB Type-C 3.1 connector.

It’s very square and almost, I mean ALMOST boring looking really. However, the tempered glass, that subtle mount on the bottom, and the RGB In Win logo on the top of the front panel give it a sleek and understated style.

Speaking of the front fan mounts, they’re actually on the right side panel. This means the panel looks clean but also gives you a clever way of showing off your cooler through the glass side panel too.

This light bar is fully RGB, and hooks up to your systems 12v RGBW header for control. It also houses a sneaky power button, which I’ll point out when it’s lit up.

Around the back, we see another break away from modern chassis design. The PSU is mounted in the top! Below that, you’ll find a 120mm fan mount, and seven ventilated expansion slots; each fitted with reusable metal covers.
