Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Hotfix 1.1.2 Released & Detailed
Warhorse Studios has just released their latest update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. While not a full title update, this is Hotfix 1.1.2, and brings some important stability improvements, a range of quest fixes, and balancing. Furthermore, they’ve released both the update, as well as a full change log, so you can check out what is new.
This update aims to provide a smoother experience for players, focusing on resolving crashes and refining quest progression. Notably, the patch tackles several crash scenarios, including those triggered by interacting with specific locked doors and chests, spamming keys on the EULA screen (who doesn’t spam buttons there) as well as conflicts with the Bink library. Additionally, the hotfix addresses crashes that could occur during game loading and when interacting with horse inventories or carts, alongside numerous other stability improvements.

Quest progression has also received attention in this update. Players encountering issues with the “Fortuna” and “The King’s Gambit” quests will find that Bozhena and Pavlena no longer incorrectly report player crimes, and the wine quest interactor in “The King’s Gambit” will now remain active. Furthermore, the update resolves a frustrating issue where rewards sometimes require a game restart to be properly awarded.
Combat mechanics have also been tweaked, with a fix implemented for the crossbow aiming zoom on ultrawide resolutions, ensuring a more consistent aiming experience for players using those display setups.
Platform-specific fixes are also included in the hotfix, with a significant resolution for players on the Epic Games Store. The update addresses a problem where achievements would fail to complete after more than an hour of playtime, ensuring that players receive their earned accolades. Overall, Hotfix 1.1.2 demonstrates Warhorse Studios’ commitment to refining the player experience in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, focusing on core stability and gameplay issues to ensure a more enjoyable and seamless adventure.
