KLEVV CRAS V RGB 32GB 7600MHz DDR5 Memory Review

How Much Does It Cost?

The KLEVV CRAS V DDR5 memory is available now from Amazon, and while this is one of the most premium memory kits we’ve tested, and certainly one of the fastest, the price is pretty reasonable. The kit we’ve tested today, the KLEVV CRAS V RGB 32GB 7600MHz DDR5 is available for just £181.99. However, the 6400 MHz kit is an even more reasonable £128.98, which is tempting!

Overview

There are quite a lot of premium memory brands on the market these days, with G.Skill, ADATA, Corsair, Thermaltake, Lexar, Crucial, TeamGroup, and more, all having extremely high-end performance products to choose from, and honestly, they’re largely all pretty fantastic. However, KLEVV is setting the bar pretty high with the CRAS V, and we do mean it when we say that it’s one of, if not the best-looking memory kit we’ve had in the office.

Finding performance in quality memory is easy, but as you’ve seen in our testing, memory performance is often quite unpredictable, especially when it comes to gaming, and the CRAS V may be up and down the charts, but so is every one of their rivals. However, despite that it scored an average FPS of 190 throughout all our games, making it the fastest gaming memory we’ve tested by a margin of 10-15% overall, which is significant.

However, in our synthetic benchmarks for rendering, compression, transfer speeds and such, it also dominated, with some of the highest scores we’ve seen. Actually, the second highest, but the kit that beat it did so by a tiny fraction, and KLEVV beat that kit significantly in gaming, making the CRAS V the more competitive all-rounder, also, it’s cheaper and looks arguably better too, so another big win for KLEVV.

There’s also some stunning RGB lighting, offering some of the prettiest colours we’ve seen in memory, and this is complimented further by the stunning matte black finish. The aluminium heatsinks are premium quality, but most impressive is that they run exceptionally cool, despite the heatsinks being smaller and more low-profile than what we usually see on such high-performance kits.

Should I Buy One?

KLEVV has always positioned itself as a premium brand, and the latest CRAS V memory kit is a prime example of this. With the fastest average gaming performance we’ve seen from any memory to date, some of the best transfer speeds, the lowest latency and benchmark scores, and the lowest temperatures, it is a fantastic memory kit. Best of all, the price is pretty reasonable too, and it is in stock, with many rival products often being great in benchmarks, but rarely available to buy in the UK market, so KLEVV has an all-around advantage here.
