Kobalt Computers go bust!

For those of you in the UK, you may be aware of Kobalt Computers, who offered high-priced desktop machines and laptops for the mass consumer market. They were considered one of the smaller operations but held on to a niche high-end market that most people could only wish to afford systems made by them.

Kobalt were based in Surrey and had been around for a few years, but as they can’t meet their ongoing financial obligations, they are forced to cease trading.

Their website doesn’t make it clear on the exact reasons as to why they have closed but we can only assume that the recession is still hitting people hard and fast.

If you are after an extreme gaming rig, you can always head over to international market retailer Scan.co.uk where you can find a deal precise to your needs.
