Lamptron FC9 Fan Controller Review

The front panel is formed from a CNC milled piece of aluminium, with the four throttle style controls peeking though and a grill to either side.

On the rear of the controller, we can see 4 banks of power coils, fan headers and MOSFETs each with their own heatsink.

On the rear of the controller, are three 2 pin jumpers of configuring the LED colour output. This is based on an RGB scale and depending on the selection made, gives the option of – white, blue, green, cyan, red, purple & yellow.

To the right on the rear of the controller, is another 2 pin jumper. Removing this turns off the LEDS on the two side grills of the front panel.

Due to the power output of each channel, there are three molex connectors on the rear which all need to be connected to provide the controller with all the power it needs.
