Gigabyte is well-known for their high-end motherboards and that’s a trend that looks set to continue well throughout 2016. Their latest G1 gaming boards kick things off with the GX-X99-Ultra Gaming, which offers up support for the mighty 6950X Extreme Edition. All the usual high-end features are here too, such as USB Type-C support, room for up to 3 high-end GPUs in CrossFire or SLI, Killer E2400 networking, HD audio, RGB lighting and much more. The design is stunning too in a racy white and red detailing on the Ultra Durable armour that surrounds many vital components.

Then we have the stunning GA-Z170X-Ultra Gaming, which offers up LED lighting that passes through the board and around the back, giving you a very well illuminated setup that’s bound to look impressive in your system. Of course, you’ll also find support for NVMe PCIe, GBe LAN with CFosSpeed, high-end audio, Dual Hybrid Fan, as well as Ultra Durable armour.

The GA-B150-Gaming TH is a little more affordable, but still no slouch in terms of features. Offering up dual channel DDR4, 2-way CrossFire support, NVMe, LED lighting and more of that lovely Ultra Durable protection. For a more budget focused board, this is definitely an impressive package.

Need a huge range of features like you find a gaming board, but with a more professional approach? The GA-Z170X-Designare is just the ticket, offering up support for the latest Intel CPUs, DDR4, SLI and CrossFire, NVMe, 3 Intel SSD 750 in RAID 0, dual GbE LAN, high-end audio and much more. This is the perfect solution for a professional work system that needs some serious performance without too many flashy gimmicks.

Then moving up, we have the mighty GA-X99-Designare EX, for when modest just isn’t going to cut it. Equipped with support for the i7 6950X Extreme Edition, 8 DDR4 DIMMs, 3-way GPU configurations, NVMe PCIe Gen3 x3 M.2 and U.2, dual LAN, HD Audio and much more. This is a workstation powerhouse, and it’s rather good-looking too with all that lovely Ultra Durable hardware, there’s even a shield to cover the M.2, handy if you have one that has an unattractive green PCB.
