Launch of New Worlds First DLC Puts it Ahead of Counter-Strike 2

It’s been nearly two years since the rise and fall of New World and since then we have seen New World is at around an average of 20,000 monthly players. Although 20000 may seem like a lot that’s nothing compared to the numbers that were seen at launch when we saw a peak of over 900,000. But now with the release of the game’s first major expansion Rise of the Angry Earth, the game has once again started climbing the steam charts.

New World

So far it is too early to determine if this will be the start of a comeback for New World but so far it seems promising and has doubled the monthly players on Steam charts taking the game from 25000 to 50000.

New World is now the first game to knock Valve’s own Titan, Counter-Strike 2 off the top seller spot, which has only just recently launched. The game has been launched 74 positions on the top sellers list.
