Lenovo announces another All-in-One desktop

Lenovo announced earlier today a new All-in-One desktop to add to their series, and it means business.

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M71z, a 20 inch all-in-one desktop, mainly targets businesses, schools and governments and it’s packed with all you need, and more.

This AIO desktop continues on Lenovo’s Enhance Experience 2.0 program, and performance wise, the M71z packs a punch. Built around Intel’s second generation Core processors (no available models announced yet), with a fast-booting time as little as 15 second on models equipped with the optional 160 GB SSD. Although if you require more space, you can switch the SSD for a 1TB HDD.

Other features include a DVD Burner, optional Wi-Fi, six USB ports, chassis intrusion switch and a DVI connection for plugging in a second monitor.

The 20 inch screen is of good size, specially for working, and the fact of it being an all-in-one solution, it help save space. Add-in an optional touchscreen and the interaction with the screen will make collaboration with colleagues or clients feel more natural.

As stated, this AIO is aimed at business, which nowadays works a lot on video conferencing over the web, therefore a 2.0 Megapixel camera and a microphone with crisp voice clarity can be added.

Flexibility in working environment has also been thought of, with the M71z allowing the use of Vesa wall or desk mounts as well as an optional height adjustable stand.

Lenovo is going even further than reducing space by including environmental “goodies” since the chassis is made out of recycled materials and the power supply surpasses Energy Start 5.2 efficiency requirements.

Lenovo is really making it a very flexible and “feature-full” All-in-One desktop, as a matter of fact they are EPEAT Gold rated and TCO Certified Edge for all their environmental and usability features.

The ThinkCentre M71z all-in-one desktop will hit the stores in October with an approximate price starting at $599.
