The x121e is able to auto-encrypt USB and SSD and has a hardware password manager.
All three laptops offer a few extras, including fingerprint readers, low-light webcams, noise-suppressing keyboards and Lenovo’s ThinkVantage Communications Utility which is designed at making them ideal for conference calls. Battery life can be up to 8-hours with their 6-cell unit (also extra).
These new models will become available this month. ex-VAT prices are around £390 for the E320/325 and the x121e starts at £262. There’s no indication of the prices of the optional extra’s.
