Lenovo Legion Go 2 Price Rises by Nearly 50%
Lenovo has significantly increased the price of its Legion Go 2 in the United States just a few months after launch. The model with the AMD Ryzen Z2 and 16 GB of RAM has gone from $1,099 to $1,499, while the version with the Ryzen Z2 Extreme and 32 GB of RAM has jumped from $1,349 to $1,999. This represents price increases of around 36% and 48%, respectively.
The move is even more striking because the device already launched at the end of October 2025 with a very high price for the handheld PC market.
Legion Go 2 Gets Major Price Increase Just Months After Release
This price rise reflects the ongoing pressure in the portable hardware market. The increase comes amid the recent memory and storage price crisis that has affected consumer hardware in recent months, and which also played a role in the controversial PS5 price increase.
In the handheld PC space, Lenovo’s decision puts the Legion Go 2 in a difficult position compared with its rivals. The ROG Xbox Ally X launched with a recommended price of $999.99, far below the new price of the most powerful Legion Go 2 model.
At the same time, Valve continues to sell the 1 TB Steam Deck OLED as its most expensive version, although the company has already warned about intermittent stock issues caused by memory and storage shortages.
For now, Lenovo has not publicly explained the price increase, so it remains unclear whether this is a permanent adjustment, a temporary response to component costs, or a measure linked to low stock availability.
