Lenovo Rumored To Be Working On Legion Go Gaming Handheld

We may soon be seeing another entry into the handheld gaming scene as a concept for a Lenovo handheld gaming console has been spotted named the Legion Go.

Lenovo Legion Go

This handheld was first spotted by liliputing.com on Lenovo’s website and was originally supposed to be part of the Mobile World Congress 2021 showcase but was never actually launched meaning that this console could simply be a prototype that we will never see or it could be coming at a later date. The source code for the product page was found and provided some information on the handheld claiming that it is an Android cloud gaming console with a 7″ Bezel-less display, HDR10, built-in controllers, dual speakers, dual vibration and a 7000mAh battery. Alongside this description were several photos giving us a look at the handheld console. Firstly the Bezel-less display claim is a lie as it has some pretty thick bezels, and overall it features a rounded look with a fairly standard control configuration that resembles the Xbox layout with its AXYB buttons. The rear of the console features the Lenovo logo with a striped white design surrounding it. On the side, there is a USB-C port presumably for charging, a headset jack and a built-in microphone. In the photos, we can also see that the device would support Google Play and GeForce Now and features a very simple-looking interface.

Will This Happen?

For now, the only specs and information we have is what has been found on the source code without anything from Lenovo themselves. I’m not sure whether Lenovo would release this device but with the rise of handhelds and cloud gaming, they’d be silly to not capitalise on it so I do expect this to reach the market at some stage.
