Lexar Intros SL600 Portable SSD With Speeds Up To 2000MB/s

Lexar, a leading brand of flash memory solutions, has today announced its new SL600 portable SSD which boasts high speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s through a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 connection.

The Lexar Professional SL600 Portable SSD is the latest product from Lexar that comes in sizes of 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities. It connects through USB Type-C Gen 3.2 offering performance up to 2000 MB/s read and write and is an excellent choice for photographers, videographers, content creators and business professionals.

It comes in a durable, aluminium enclosure to help protect users files from bumps and drops whilst travelling, it also features a carabiner loop so it can be secured to your travel bag. For further security it comes with Lexar DataShield, a 256-bit AES encryption software so users can ensure their files remain private.

Price and Availability

The Lexar Professional SL600 Portable SSD comes in three capacities and is available for $129.99 for 1TB and $174.99 for 2TB. It will also be available in a 4TB capacity at the end of Q2. It is compatible with a wide range of Type-A and Type-C devices, including DSLR and mirrorless cameras, Mac and Windows PCs, Android and iPhone devices, and PlayStation and Xbox systems.
