Lian Li launches two new small yet good performing cases

Lian Li, a manufacturer of high quality cases, has announced the launch of two new cases that will appeal to people desiring smaller forms: the HTPC PC-V353 and the Mini-Tower PC-Q25.

We can already expect both of these, being Lian Li manufactured, to be of high quality, ingenious engineering and incredible performance, so let’s get to it and see what we’ve got here.

Here is the HTPC PC-V353.

This case is all about tool free, with a removable motherboard tray which allows both Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX, the HDD rack supports two 3.5” and two 2.5” HDDs and you can fit a video card as long as 300mm.

Other than being trouble free this case is very flexible as its incredible engineering allows the components to operate fan-less without trouble with the front panel mesh cover allowing for clever ventilation, the four PCI slots are also ventilated and the top of the cases allows hot air to be exhausted through the chassis’s unique “thermal flow” top. Although you’re still allowed to add fans according to your likings. Very thoughtful from Lian-Li.

The front panel has been well thought of as well, as all the features are easily accessible with a power and reset switch, two USB 3.0 ports, one e-SATA port and an HD audio port. The PC-V353 measures 288mm(W) x 286mm(H) x 397mm(D) and weights only 4.13kg, all of this for MSRP of $199.

Now onto the smallest of the two, the Mini-Tower PC-Q25.

I did say small, but I didn’t say less performing, for the Q25 still shows us what we want to see from Lian Li, a durable, effective and stylish case, and that’s exactly what we have.

The PC-Q25 is, on the other hand, a mini-tower case, but don’t be fooled for this case can hold up to seven HDDs, so storage isn’t much a problem, even for its smaller size.

The future-proof design of this case uses a standard Mini-ITX motherboard, 3.5” and 2.5” hard drive and a standard ATX PS/2 power supply. Even though it isn’t as fan-less as the HTPC, it shouldn’t bother much as the intake fan is 140mm on the front, allowing cool air to pass through the HDD cage and the rest of the system, and the hot air to be exhausted by a 120mm fan on the top.

The HDD tray at the bottom can mount either two 3.5” HDDs or one 3.5” HDD and two 2.5” HDD, which adds up to a total of eight maximum hard drives.

To top with that the chassis can take a video card that is as long as an outstanding 320mm.

The PC-Q25 measures 199mm(W) x 280mm(H) x 366mm(D) and weights only 3.1kg.
All of this for a MSRP of $149.

Both of these are available in silver and black for an astonishing look.

For over 20 years, Lian Li has amazed us with their incredibly high performance, well engineered chassis, and they’ve always provided their customers with outstanding built quality, all of which being accompanied by a flawless design. As we can see with today’s release, the legacy goes on.
