Lies of P Overture Too Difficult, Developers Announce Plans for Adjustments

Recently, the developers at Round8, known for their game Lies of P, surprised fans when they announced that the Overture DLC was available for their soulslike game. It was a bit of a surprise, as the DLC was announced just hours after a video leaked via the Xbox app.

Whether it was a surprise or not, the public responded well to the news. Many players returned to the Steam version of the game (and possibly also on consoles, although we don’t have the exact data) to experience the new DLC. However, some players found the new expansion to be a bit too difficult. If this sounds familiar to you, don’t worry, as the developers confirmed they will be lowering the difficulty level.

Changes Coming to Lies of P Overture

The Game Director, Jiwon Choi, confirmed that they have received feedback from players and revealed what changes will be made to Lies of P Overture.

The main focus of the changes will be on the combat experience. Some areas of the game didn’t quite turn out as the team had hoped, so they’ll be adjusting them. In addition, the difficulty of the battles will be reduced. However, this won’t happen right away, as these battles are the core of the game, and the team needs to test the changes carefully. This means there is no set date yet for the update.

Choi also mentioned that the development team is taking their time to improve the DLC and deliver an optimized version of Overture. They want to ensure the game’s combat experience is enjoyable for all players.
