Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike Could Drop to 29 Grams With New Mod

In the competitive world of gaming mice, weight plays a key role in performance and in reducing fatigue. One of the latest mice to hit the market is the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike, and it may soon receive a highly anticipated mod that could reduce its weight by up to 50%.
PMM (Pirate Mouse Mods), a well-known specialist in custom ultra-light shells, has turned its attention to the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike. The company promises a major transformation of this model focused on weight reduction.
Out of the box, the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is a high-performance mouse with a standard weight of around 60 grams. However, PMM revealed on social media that it is developing a modification kit designed to push the mouse to its limits in terms of weight. According to the shared details, the goal is to achieve a weight reduction close to 50%.
Precision Engineering for Maximum Performance
PMM’s projections are ambitious. The designer stated that it is possible to reach a weight of 39 grams using a solid shell, meaning without weight-reduction holes. Even so, the community has reacted with excitement to the possibility of going even further, reaching 29 or 33 grams while keeping the internal battery. Achieving these numbers requires complex 3D scanning and structural optimization to avoid weakening the mouse.
This mod is not only about reducing weight. It also aims to fix balance issues. Many users of the original model have complained that the mouse feels front-heavy. PMM suggests that moving the battery inside the new shell could provide a much more balanced and natural center of gravity.
Although the kit is still in the design and development phase, the announcement confirms that the trend toward ultra-light gaming gear continues to grow. With PMM’s reputation for quality, eSports enthusiasts may soon be able to turn their Logitech mouse into an ultra-light tool built for speed and precision.
