For those of you who are familiar with point-and-click adventure games, Lost Horizon definitely needs no introduction. However, even if you’re not a fan of this particular type of game, you might want to have a look at the title’s second installment, which is set to arrive on the PC this fall. The storyline in Lost Horizon 2 takes place two decades after the first game’s events, and it features the same main hero named Fenton Paddock. It’s true that the storyline is arguably the most important part of an adventure game, but Lost Horizon 2 also comes with some pretty impressive graphics as it is powered by the Unity 5 engine.
Marco Zeugner, the studio head over at Animation Arts stated the following when he talked about the upcoming game:
“We are delighted to bring the next installment of the adored Lost Horizon series to our fans, and with the natural progression of the story and characters, combined with technological advancements across all aspects of the game that we’ve made, we feel sure that both historical fans of the titles and new fans alike will love Lost Horizon 2.”
The title will launch for the first time in Germany on August 28 while its global release will take place on October 2. You can catch a glimpse of Lost Horizon 2 by having a look at the following screenshots.
