For a product of this nature, you wouldn’t expect much to come inside the packaging, and while the stand is already pre-built, it requires no assembly other than placing your phone upon it, and adjusting the holder to suit the size of your handset. Inside is a product information guide, but personally this isn’t a necessity. The H1 Premium holder is nicely sandwiched within the cardboard packaging and therefore will not seen the item being damaged when in transit.
The holder is completely made from aluminium, and is also rust resistant. It features a brushed feel to it which oozes quality, as you’d expect from a brand who pride themselves on being an upmarket company offering the best products on the market.
The back of the device shows you from the offset about the build quality with the full aluminium backplate held by large screws.
The base features a small rubber strip around the edge that stops the holder from moving while on your desk.
Very subtle Luxa2 branding is on the front of the device, and a small opening allowing the pass-through of the relevant data/power cable to your handheld device.
The H1 Premium can be rotated a full 360 degrees in either clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.
It also sees the vertical adjustable angle able to move to 300 degrees, allowing you to show your friends or colleagues the latest Vine compilation instead of doing your work.
The holder features six clamps that can be adjusted to suit your chosen mobile phone. These move in conjunction with each other to give the best fit to your phone, opposed to moving independently.
With an iPhone 5S taking centre stage, it does look absolutely stunning and is a fine accompaniment to the latest Apple handheld iDevice on the market.
Rotating the device around allows you to admire the display of your phone without the need of holding the device, making it perfect for watching movies and video clips when you want and with the adjustable viewing angle, you’ll be sure to get the perfect position for you.
