Mobile devices are everywhere, it’s more than likely that everyone reading this review will have a mobile phone, a tablet, or a portable media player that they take with them everywhere. While companies have worked hard to improve the performance and efficiency of these devices, more often than not, the battery life can still be a big issue, especially on long journeys where you may me a day or more away from the next plug socket. To combat this, you can invest in a mobile battery and with 10,000mAh of power, the P10 we have in the office today is capable of charging most mobile devices several times over, and most big tablets fully, with some to spare, with ease.

Charging the P10 couldn’t be easier, just use the included USB to Micro-USB cable to plug it into any USB output, this can be on your computer, or even a mains adapter; the kind that often come included with your mobile phone/tablet. It takes a couple of hours to fully charge, but will hold that charge for months with minimal loss, making it great for keeping stored in your bag/your car/at work.

The design is pretty stylish too, not that it needs to be as it’s more a practical unit than anything. At least with a sleek design, you wouldn’t feel embarrassed to have it on the table when your out for a meal and need to charge your phone. There are two charging ports available, meaning you can charge multiple devices at the same time, although one of the ports supports 2.1A, meaning it’ll charge higher power devices quicker, the other only supports 1A; fine for lower powered devices. The outputs are standard USB ports, so virtually all modern charging cables from your devices should work just fine.

The base of the P10 is lightly textured, which makes it a little easier to hold compared to the glossy top panel.

It’s a good size too, not much bigger than most modern smartphones, so it easily fits in your pocket if you need it to.

There’s a small button on the end here too, just give it a tap and a small OLED display shows you how much power (%) is remaining.

It’s a simple yet effective unit, it certainly gets the job done and it manages to look pretty stylish overall; always a nice bonus for something that is essentially just a big battery. We managed to get a few full charges out of it on our Sony Xperia Z3 and iPhone 6S without cause for concern. The biggest advantage was our recent flight from the UK to the US, where if kept our Nvidia Shield Tablet alive and kicking perfectly for the full flight and still having enough left to spare to charge our phones a bit at the other end too.
