Sliding this bite-sized drive out of the plastic cover on the pack and getting more hands on, it is hard to quantify just how small this drive is in comparison to other drives out there on the market. At a shade over two inches long, it is hard to think that a few years ago, this is the size that a 256MB drive would be and now we are fitting 32GB of storage in to a nano form factor instead.
The MX-LX is encased in a blue anodised metal frame with clear plastic inserts holding everything in place and adding a little contrast to the colour at the same time. On the end of the drive, the plastic cap has been shaped in such a way that if the user wanted to, they could easily attach a cord to the drive and attach it to a set of keys. On this end of the drive is also a bright blue LED to match the colour of the casing and this shines and diffuses through the clear plastic end.
