Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Update 7 Released

Nixxes has just released the latest patch for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. This is a full title update, Title Update 7, which attempts to resolve many of the game’s biggest bugs, brings some tweaks to the game’s ray tracing, and even adds some quality-of-life features.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Patch 7 primarily focused on resolving a range of visual and technical glitches. Notable fixes include addressing pixelated interior objects and overly bright plants when Ray-Traced Interiors were enabled, along with flickering shadows caused by Ambient Occlusion settings. The update also tackled crashes related to minimizing the game and disappearing crime events, enhancing the overall stability and visual fidelity of the gameplay experience.
Furthermore, the patch implemented several user interface and control improvements. Display settings now save correctly when switching between fullscreen modes, and the game no longer resets to regular fullscreen when using Alt+Tab. Control schemes were also refined, with MJ’s lure ability now remappable and the Xbox 360 controller layout corrected. Additionally, the update included performance optimizations and stability enhancements, ensuring a smoother and more reliable gaming experience.

- Fixed a bug where the Xbox 360 controller layout would cause the camera input to be displayed in the wrong position.
