The latest drivers from Nvidia were used as of 11/02/2019. This includes all the most up to date drivers for Windows 10, and the most recent updates available to Metro Exodus prior to its launch. Keep in mind that with this being launch week, performance will likely improve in the game with upcoming patches and fixes. Day one patches are expected, as the DLSS feature is not working the games official benchmark tool, but was working in-game. However, we will re-test this once it is patched post-launch.
To keep things easy to replicate, we stuck with the games built-in graphics profiles. The only changes we made were to ensure V-Sync was set to off. We used three resolutions; 1080p, 1440p, 2160p. We ran several runs using the benchmark tool in the games install folder. We ran High, Ultra and Extreme. However, we also ran Ultra graphics with Ultra Ray Tracing, and Ultra graphics with High Ray Tracing.
