Microsoft Announces New Xbox Pip-Boy Controllers Inspired by Fallout
Microsoft has announced a new line of Xbox Controllers styled after Fallout, named Pip-Boy Controllers. These designs replicate the iconic look of the in-game device used by characters in the series.
The collection includes both a standard Xbox Wireless Controller and an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, each inspired by Fallout. Additionally, fans can customize their own version through the Xbox Design Lab. All versions share the same central graphic but differ slightly in certain design details.
The Fallout Pip-Boy Edition continues the tradition of Bethesda-themed accessories, following the special edition controllers released last year. However, this time, the design takes a completely different approach, reflecting the distinctive Pip-Boy aesthetic.
Beautiful but Expensive
The Fallout Pip-Boy Edition controllers are available on the Microsoft Store, or users can create their own themed design through the Xbox Design Lab.
These controllers feature a unique green gradient color that resembles the Pip-Boy’s classic screen, complete with the iconic Vault Boy character in the center and matching colors for the buttons, grips, and back panel.
While the design is certainly appealing, the price may be a sticking point for some fans. Through the Design Lab, the standard version costs nearly $82.97(including a temporary discount of about $16), while the Elite version is priced at around $164.58.
