The Coalition and Microsoft have announced that the multiplayer mode of Gears of War: E-Day will be officially revealed soon. The presentation is scheduled for 6:00 AM PT on July 30, although no additional details have been shared yet.
The reveal is expected to showcase the online modes included in the highly anticipated prequel. The multiplayer will likely build on the well-known formula that helped make the Gears of War series so popular over the years.
Gears of War: E-Day Multiplayer to Be Unveiled on July 30
Along with the classic PvP modes, many players are eager to see the new Horde Siege mode in action. In this mode, three teams of four players will work together to stop the Locust invasion across large urban maps.
As previously announced, Gears of War: E-Day will also appear at Gamescom 2026, where attendees will be able to try a demo of the single-player campaign, which is expected to include several new features.
The multiplayer beta will also begin soon. The first test starts on August 6 and will be available to players who pre-order any edition of the game, as well as Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
A second beta session will be open to everyone. It will also help test the game’s online servers before the official launch on October 6 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
